(Reuters) -Boeing on Thursday named sustainability chief Chris Raymond as the brand new head of its aftermarket enterprise, succeeding Stephanie Pope, who was introduced because the planemaker’s chief working officer on Monday.
Raymond takes over as CEO of Boeing (NYSE:) International Companies on Jan. 1, after having served as the corporate’s first chief sustainability officer since October 2020.
Whereas Boeing’s business aerospace and protection segments have posted destructive margins for the primary 9 months of 2023, International Companies has remained a worthwhile beacon for the U.S. aerospace large, liable for revenues of $17.6 billion in 2022.
Raymond was beforehand vice chairman for sustainability, technique and company improvement and led the corporate’s now-defunct efforts to type a three way partnership with Brazilian aircraft maker Embraer. A Boeing veteran, he started his profession as an engineer and held varied roles in its protection unit.
Raymond shall be succeeded within the prime sustainability job by Brian Moran, at the moment Boeing’s vice chairman of worldwide sustainability coverage and partnerships.
